Winter hangs on out West

Summary

The West has continued to see frequent shots of snow along with cold temperatures this week, and a similar pattern is expected to linger through the first half of next week. The East is experiencing more of a spring-like pattern with storms producing a mix of rain and snow. Parts of the Upper Midwest will see heavy snow on the colder backside of a storm on Saturday.
