US and Canada Daily Snow
By Alan Smith, Meteorologist Posted 1 year ago January 6, 2023
California remains in the flow for the foreseeable future
Summary
A strong and persistent jet stream will continue to favor strong storms slamming into California and depositing huge amounts of snow over the Sierra Nevada Range. The rest of the West will see lighter but continued frequent snowfall through the weekend, while a stronger storm could impact the Rockies next week. The East is also heading into a cooler pattern with light snow chances ahead.
